I have been buying from Transmission Parts USA for about 4 years now. I have never had an issue with any of the parts I've used. I have not once got the wrong part I ordered or had a delay from a "backorder" they are extremely good at packaging for delivery and shipping time.

The shift interlock solenoid ensures you can’t shift from Park to Drive without first applying the brake. The solenoid inside the interlock system is what allows you to move the shifter. When the brake pedal is pressed, the solenoid receives a signal that releases a mechanical lock on the shifter and allows it to be moved.
P076A Dodge Shift (Solenoid H) OBD Code: System: Subsystem: P076A Dodge – (ASE) Powertrain Transmission Controls Trouble Code Description: Shift (Solenoid H) Location: When the shift lock solenoid fails, which it can with age and wear, you won’t be able to get out of park. It’s a gadget used in your Nissan’s automatic transmission, that stops you from doing something silly, like shifting out of park when the brake is not engaged and the ignition is on.
Gear Solenoids There are different shift solenoids available and will need to be selected. The default is a Sequence-On which is activated with 12 volts and remains on. There is also a Pulsed solenoid that receives a Pulsed signal to activate the solenoid. The time of the Pulse signal is also adjustable from 0.100 to A shift solenoid is controlled by the ECU/TCM, and its job is to facilitate a gear change by moving a shift valve inside the valve body. If the computer detects a mechanical fault with a solenoid, it will save a P0756 diagnostic trouble code. The shift solenoid is located within the transmission on a 99 Montana. Unless you are very mechanically inclined, it is best to bring it to a shop to have it done.
• Overlap shift control (system specific) • Band Brake Activation (system specific) Magnetic Valve (Shift) Solenoids (MV). Controlled by a switched (on/off) power or ground signal from the TCM. The valves have two positions open or closed. Some are normally open and close when activated and some are normally closed and open when activated.
Shift solenoid are responsible for shifting your transmission's gears. It uses pulse width modulated solenoid to control fluid pressure/flow. Your transmission may have multiple shift solenoids.
